  IDEA regarding my mother.

  its richie again.. i was thinking last night about my inevitable, fast approaching exit from the wtbts.

  i guess that out of common courtesy, i will provide a copy of my disassociation letter to my mother, however, it is nothing more than a baptism nullification / gag order / i'll sue all of you letter.

  its not one of those lengthy numbers that some have chosen to write.

  I too have always enjoyed your posts, a real thinker.

  I wish that you had a cause that felt near and dear to you to go out on. Especially since, if you go out with a bang you can use the publicity in your local paper just like we did. It accomplishes a lot. At the same time, if you go out with a cause, your mom will be proud of you for standing up for what is right, even if the Borg won't allow her to verbalize that.

  If you do compose a DF letter I think that that using an issue like the child molestion/pedophile policy works better. Here's a draft example of what you might write:

  Dear Mom,

  You always taught me to stand up for what is right even if it causes me great harm personally. This is also what I believe the Bible teaches and what God expects from us. All the great stories of the prophets of old and Christian apostles teach us that they stood up for what was right.

  In this vain I have come to find out that the policies of the Watchtower for handling pedophiles and child molesters hurts Witness children. Because of this and other irregularities, I have decided to disassociate myself from Jehovah's Witnesses for I can no longer support them by filling a seat at the Kingdom Hall. As we have been taught about other churches, one needs to leave them in order not to be included in their final judgment in the final days. I know that I am going to sacrifice my relationship with you for my stand but I have to do what is right in Jehovah’s eyes. I feel that in order to do what’s right I must not support Watchtower.

  I love you very much and always will. I at the same time I know that you have invested much time as a Witness in thinking that your salvation lies in with their organization. Therefore, I know that you probably will shun me and I will have to accept that inevitable event.

  My apology to Victims of Molestation within the Watchtower

  newbies and the wt molestation problem

  stone hearted jw's who dismiss the child molestation problem within the watchtower, such as scholar, actually do us a favor.

  once our blood pressure returns to normal we can reflect rationally not only on how badly victims of molestation have been treated inside the org but also upon how disgustingly insensitive the watchtower has been to public outcry.

  Wouldn't be great to in touch with a lawyer before telling elders first that he/she is being molested by JW pedophile?.

  Just think she/he could tape record the elders telling you that you have to have two witnesses. That when the perp is sorry the victim has to forgive. If she/he doesn't forgive they will disfellowship her/him. That if you go to the authorities she/he get's disfellowshipped and so forth. Even get it on tape that the Borg is behind these rules!

  Has this been done before? Wouldn't be great to go into court with this? Most States allow taping a conversation between three or more parties without asking. For this reason no one should have to ask if they can tape a judical meeting should they?

  The victim certainly would have a hard time doing this though. But wouldn't be cool !

  yes there is a way to save the files. However its not easy. The type of download that Danny Haszard has used is only going to save the file for a short time in the temp files on your computor. The other way that the download could have been was to give you the window that has "play from current file" or "Save file" . Which I have never been on the creative side of Realone to know what is done different.

  Here what to doas it is-Once you locate how to turn on your hidden files then go to "local setting" file, then to 'Temp" file. Open that file and look for the file you want to save. Then drag that file to the desktop, Do this all while Realone is done playing the mark furhman show and the Realone is still open and shrunk. The temp file will be full of stuff so it is best to empty it first so all that it is showing is the new "Mark Furhman" file. At least I think this is how I did it

  By the way Gary it doesn't start playing right away it has to load some first. You will see the loading... in the address bar for awhile first. Its best to see the progress of that when you hit the expanded screen at the top right corner of Realplayer

  Also if you will pause the realone player when the voices are playing the player continues to load. This is only true if it is paused when the voice is playing . If you pause it after it has stopped on its own, the loading pauses too! The file is at 32000 per sec and my dialup is 28000 so that things have to catch up every 10 sec or so.
